Dear Ones,

In the last update I had envisioned to release a new album around now. Oops! Well, I have to say that the work is still in progress. Forgive me for keeping the details close to my chest, but this creation is very different from what has come before. So, I admit to feeling a little protective of the intricacies. It seems to be taking on a life of its own and at times the feeling is overwhelming. Most of the album I am recording at my home studio, The Butterfly Cellar. Previously, I’ve gone into commercial studios, but this time, because the work is such a departure from the past and is so personal, I feel the need to work within a cocoon-like environment. I see the creative process as akin to the gestation of a babe. At the moment, this babe is a little way off… but like all manifestations it will appear at just right time… so please bear with me…

In the meantime, you may wish to hear the work recently completed with the group Lüüp. I co-wrote a couple of the tracks, ‘Spiraling’ and ‘See You In Me’, and feature as vocalist on these pieces. Lüüp is actually a collective of musicians headed by Stelio Romaliadis, and brought together for the new album “Meadow Rituals”. Some of the other artists appearing on the album include Lisa Isaksson (Lisa O Piu), David Jackson (Van Der Graaf Generator) and Greg Haines. It is out now on Experimedia label (US) on CD and 12inch Vinyl LP http://luup.experimedia.net

Not too long ago I also co-wrote and performed a song for the group Strings Of Consciousness. I’ve just heard that the album on which the song will feature is called "From Beyond Love” and is to be released early in 2012 on the STAUBGOLD label: www.staubgold.com

In my spare moments I draw things. One of my drawings was chosen for a design and we placed the design on a calico bag. Handy for picnics in the forests or upon those flights in hot air balloons. I’ve decided to include postage in the price of the CDs ‘cause it’s simpler for me and cheaper for you : ). I know everyone’s downloading music for free these days, but for those who do like to support the artists they love, I want to keep the price as reasonable as possible. So albums are now £10 including p&p and EPs are £5 including p&p.
